Bronchitis

Yesterday mummy was home because our new maid is going for thumbprint. Shortly after she left, mummy feed me cough syrup and sat me in the stroller. I suddenly felt terrible and vomited like a merlion. Oh it stinks! This is the second time I vomited in my stroller. Mummy called daddy, and granny came back to take care of me. Granny sat down with me to watch my favourite children songs while mummy cleaned up the mess. I fell sound asleep in the hammock later.

Next morning, when mummy gave me the cough syrup, again I vomited. But this time on jie-jie (our new maid) when she brought me to the living room sofa. But she was not mad at me, instead she held me patiently till I finished vomitting. By thge time granny arrives at our house, mummy and jie-jie already cleaned me up.

Granny said I need to go see doctor again so mummy agreed to arrange for the afternoon. My favourite PD is on holiday, Dr. Allyson examined and said I am wheezing and diagnosed me bronchitis. Granny was heartbroken. The nurses made me wear a mask and inhaled ventolin to help clear my congested lung. It makes awful loud noise, I don't like it.

Mummy brough back a lot of medicine. And that includes antibiotics and a device with the nasal inhaler. I was told to go back for checkup on friday again. My favourite PD should be back by then, I just hope I will recover by then. So sad.

Coughing badly

Today mummy told me that I can stop taking Zyrtec. It will be my last dose. I was delighted. After my morning feed, I started coughing badly. There were a lot of phlegm in my throat, I felt terrible. Mummy called the Kids Clinic but my PD is on holiday.

She decided to bring me to a family clinic nearby. Dr. Richard gave me a cough syrup and told me I must continue taking Zyrtec because it helps clear my running nose. I was disappointed. However, mummy got me Zyrtec drops instead, so I can drink with my milk, YIPPY. As for the cough syrup, it taste better, and it is exactly the same medicine that Mummy is taking, YEAH.

I used to mimic mummy coughing and she reprimanded me. Now that I am really sick, I know it felt terrible, I think I may not mimic her again.

I hope to recover soon. Mummy say I am building up my immune system, hopefully after this experience I will be stronger.

I had swollen eyes!

Mummy had been home taking care of me since I was sick. Granny was sick last week but she came back today and mummy went to work. When mummy left home, I was nice, but later, Granny said I had sore eyes. Mummy was shocked to hear that but she thought I was okay.

At night mummy came home and found my eyes were really swollen. She called my PD and she said I need Zyrtec. Next day, mummy send me to the PD and she said my flu virus went to my eyes. Poor me, got to take so many medicine. But I am a brave boy, I listened to mummy and took my medicine.

But I got sick of the medicine after a while, taste horrible. I tried to get away with it but mummy said NO. I had no choice.
