Anxious Mother

Michael said I worry too much and planned too early for Samson. I came home two days ago with two ABC books for Samson (yes already!) I was busy teaching my maid so that she can in turn teach my son during the day when I am at work.

I have also booked for his fourth month haircut. We are a little worried because after the first month haircut, his hair did not grow evenly. Hair did not grow on the two sides and the back of his head. My MIL said it should grow better after the fourth month haircut, I am keeping my finger crossed. My father said I must have cleaned something too much when I was pregnant!

So coming Monday, the hairdresser will come. And Samson will be four months old!

I have been thinking of sending him to this hydrotherapy (swimming) lesson since he was born. I finally got the go ahead from Michael. I have booked for him to try out his first swimming lesson this Sunday, hopefully he will like it. I cannot swim and it has been my regret. I hope he can start early and like it, its a very good exercise and sport. And the organiser told me that for some reason, after baby turn 4 months, they tends to be more afraid of water so I am really anxious to let him try out. I will get my camera ready for this.

As I was surfing the net, I came across some information on infant potty training and found that really interesting. I am pretty certain I will try out early for Samson, definitely before he turn six months old because after that it may become difficult. Parents out there don't underestimate your little baby's intelligent. Samson is already capable of informing the caregiver when he wants to poo. It should not be difficult for him to signal to us when he wants to pee. In fact, he used to pee when we change his diaper or when he is naked, it is just natural. My maid complained about him always pee-ing on her. I was the one who taught him not to pee when naked, regretly, but to pee on his diapers. So I made the mistake of teaching him the wrong thing and I need to undo and make good that error. Infant are capable of peeing at the right time!
