Organic Cereal

Yesterday mummy let me tried the Heinz organic cereal. It is for baby above 6 months. Looks pretty much the same as the 4 months rice cereal that I took except this one contains traces of soy and wheat. Taste wise, quite the same.

Somehow, today my throat don't feel comfortable. I had to clear my throat early in the morning. I coughed three times during the day and mummy said perhaps I need to wait till I'm older before I try this product again.

So she told Nan Moe jie-jie to give me back my Heinz white cereal for dinner.

Just recovered from flu

Believe it or not, I was sick again. Think I caught a virus from mummy, because she had throat infection. Once again it took about 2 weeks. First it was cough, then the cough syrup was lousy. I went back on 31 Dec to change the cough syrup. Took me another one week to complete those medicine but my nose felt watery still. Mummy brought me back to the PD and she said I had a slight swell at the nose and needed anti-sensitive medicine. That takes another 5 days, the medicine tasted bitter but I was a terrific good boy, and took my zrytec/pred faithfully. Finally, I completed the whole course yesterday, HURRAY!

Now is the exciting part. Mummy said I am big boy now so I get to try out different type of food. I have since taken pork and fish porridge, pear and banana. Granny is going to start adding vegetable to my diet. Not sure if I will like it but it sounded really exciting.

Last night, mummy taught me how to bite with my newly grown tooth (4 of them now!) The top two inched out on 8 Jan 09. I remembered because it was a chilly night but I was perspiring all over. Mummy found me hot and sweaty so she changed me. It was tough, I couldn't sleep that night because my teeth hurts. I slept a lot during the day and couldn't sleep at night, waking up every 2 hours was disturbing. However, I was glad that mummy was there with me all the time. Mummy said that is because I am teething and growing up. I struggled for 3 consecutive nights and felt much better now. I felt that I am stronger and taller now. Mummy said its time to buy me some new tops.

I have also mastered clapping. I can clap loudly when happy and when asked to. I have also learnt that bye bye means mummy will be leaving the house for a long time before I see her again at night.

So far I can only say "oh", but I hope to learn some new words soon.
